Responsibilities -

- Responsible for maintaininginventories on system at the levels set as per the judgment of supply chainensuring that there is no overstocking or stock out, as no medicine requisitionis denied or delayed.
- Responsible person for smoothfunction of CIOD of the hospitals.
- Responsible for the alldepartments inwards in terms of any materials, consumables, products etc. areto be routed through him.
- Responsible for all thedepartments outwards in terms of any materials, consumables, products etc. areto be routed through him.
- Responsible for the performancein terms of achieving complete customer satisfaction with prompt and accuratedelivery of medication.
- Taking care of all expiryproducts on the monthly basis so that it can be taken out form the inventory onthe quarterly basis.
- Observing and if requiredrejecting from the stock all the non-moving products.
- Responsible for tracking newdrugs.
- Maintain stock register.
- Issue Return of Materialagainst Patient indents from Stores
- Issue Return of Materialagainst Departmental indents
- Direct Issue of material toPatient
- Issue of Narcotics drugs as perguideline of Prohibition Excise Act.
- Receiving the material at ReceivingBay Processing of invoices after verifying the products as per theinvoice in terms of quantity, rate, amount,



expiry if any matching withpurchase order.
- Responsible for the all-validbills, challan, GRN to be prepared.
- Responsible for proper receiptsof materials as per the terms conditions of the orders placed.
- Stock transfer into the HMISsoftware on the base of the prepared GRN, for respective departments.
- Receipt of consignment goodsProcessing their Invoices on Consumption
- Physical Stock Verification
- Sale return of material inIP/ OP Pharmacy
- Checking expires of medicinebefore dispensing to patients
- Taking care of all expiryproducts on the monthly basis so that it can be taken out from the inventory onthe quarterly basis.
- Manage the expiry products to berouted to the respective vender through outward gate pass and against thatpreparing the list of the expiry submitted to the respective party.
- Against that as and when he receivesthe credit note on the expiry submitted to the vendor the acknowledges to therespective bills.
