Your profile

You bring 2-3 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and thrive in agile, fast-paced environments. You have a solid grasp of performance test strategy and tooling, particularly Apache JMeter, and are comfortable analysing system behaviour under load. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across cross-functional teams in a remote-first setup.

You enjoy the challenge of being exposed to different situations, company cultures, aviation domains, and technologies you must master quickly. You will leverage your drive, analytical intellect, and professional skills to help our customers validate the performance of our solutions, and to help us drive our innovations. You show discernment, attention to detail, and want to evolve quickly.

Your primary focus will be on designing, scripting, and executing performance test scenarios using Apache JMeter and other related tools.



You will work closely with the development, integration, and quality assurance teams to identify non-functional requirements, build load/stress/soak test scripts, and validate system performance ahead of key testing milestones. Additionally, you will analyse performance test results, identify bottlenecks, report defects, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.

Your main responsibilities:

- Design and execute comprehensive performance test scenarios (load, stress, soak, and endurance testing) covering key business transactions
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools
- Collaborate with product management, integration, and development teams to define non-functional requirements and performance acceptance criteria
- Identify, document, and track performance defects and bottlenecks using JIRA; drive resolution in collaboration with developers
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing processes
- Produce clear performance test reports and dashboards summarising response times, throughput, and resource utilisation for stakeholders

Your qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree / BE / B.Tech or equivalent in a technical field
- 2-3 years of experience in software QA/testing, with hands-on exposure to performance testing
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies (load,



stress, soak, spike, and endurance testing)
- Exposure to or knowledge of client-side/frontend performance testing of mobile apps (e.g. iOS/Android app responsiveness or resource usage), in addition to server-side performance testing would be a plus
- Ability to design JMeter scripts simulating client-server interactions, including mobile device activation and data synchronisation scenarios
- Hands-on proficiency with Apache JMeter (Must-Have) for scripting, correlation, and result analysis
- Working knowledge of Test Estimation, Defect Life Cycle, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes
- Working knowledge of agile/Scrum development processes
- Proficient with JIRA or equivalent defect management tools
- Basic understanding of monitoring/APM tools (e.g. server, database, or network resource monitoring) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written English communication
