Oracle EBS Sourcing & Procurement Technical Consultant

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Technical Consultant to support a sourcing and procurement transformation project. The consultant will design, develop, enhance, and support technical solutions across Oracle Purchasing, Sourcing, iSupplier, Inventory, and Receiving, while collaborating closely with functional consultants, business users, and integration teams.

Required Experience

8+ years of Oracle EBS R12 technical development and support experience.

Experience delivering at least two full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementations or major transformation projects.

Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher / BI Publisher, AOL objects, concurrent programs, and Unix shell scripting.

Proven experience designing and developing RICEFW components, especially reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows. Oracle Forms experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical experience supporting Oracle Purchasing, Sourcing, iSupplier, iProcurement, Inventory, and Receiving.

Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, supplier collaboration, procurement operations, and integrations with Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance.

Experience with inbound and outbound interfaces, APIs, open interfaces, data conversion, and integration troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs and development specifications.

Understand existing custom sourcing and procurement processes, review current customizations,



and recommend appropriate Oracle EBS R12 technical solutions or enhancements.

Design, develop, unit test, and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, and related technical components.

Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code, concurrent programs, XML Publisher templates, and data extraction solutions.

Partner with functional consultants to perform fit-gap analysis, assess technical impacts, and participate in solution and design reviews.

Support integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications, supplier portals, EDI platforms, and middleware solutions.

Perform technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, defect resolution, and production support.

Support data conversion, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

Prepare and maintain technical design documents, unit test evidence, deployment instructions, code migration details, and support documentation.

Follow development standards, change-control processes, code-review practices, and project delivery timelines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle APIs, interface tables, personalization, OAF, Web ADI, and approval workflows.

Knowledge of supplier portals, EDI, web services, REST/SOAP integrations, and enterprise middleware.

Experience in a manufacturing setting and with raw material procurement or planning processes.

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently in a project-based contract role and deliver assigned technical components with limited supervision.
