ABOUT US
Biotastic Health Systems is India's only premium recovery engineering company. We design, sell, and install Ice Baths, Hybrid Infrared Saunas, Red-Light Therapy systems, and Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers for luxury hotels, professional sports teams, and high-performance individuals across India. Our clients include five-star hotel groups, IPL franchises, and athletes who treat recovery as seriously as training.
We sell and install ourselves, so operations is not a support function here. It is a core competitive advantage. Everything you touch in this internship is something a paying client will see.
WHY THIS INTERNSHIP EXISTS
Our operations function is being built right now. Instead of shadowing a finished system, you will help build one: confirming site readiness before dispatch, keeping trackers current, chasing vendors for committed dates, and closing the loop with clients after installation.
This is hands-on. You will be based at our Manjambakkam warehouse, not the corporate office, spending your days around stock and equipment, on the phone with vendors and technicians, and at client sites across Chennai. If you want a desk-only internship, this is not it.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Dispatch & documentation: Run the pre-dispatch checklist (model, serial number, accessories, manuals, warranty, packing, documents) and collect signed proof of delivery.
- Site readiness:
Confirm access route, power, water inlet, drainage, and working space with clients before every installation, in writing.
- Trackers & reporting: Maintain installation, dispatch, and inventory trackers in Excel/Google Sheets and build the weekly operations summary.
- Warehouse & stock: Support goods receipt against POs, stock counts, labelling, put-away, and same-day variance reporting.
- Vendor & technician coordination: Follow up on vendor delivery dates and coordinate technician schedules, travel, and tool kits.
- After-sales follow-up: Call clients after installation, log complaints, and route them to the right person the same day.
- Site visits: Accompany installation and service visits across Chennai and document what happened.
YOUR THREE MONTHS
Month 1 — Learn the ground: Learn every product, accompany at least two installations, take over the trackers.
Month 2 — Own the follow-ups: Run site readiness, pre-dispatch checks, vendor follow-ups, and the weekly summary independently.
Month 3 — Improve something: Own after-sales calls, fix one process that keeps breaking, and leave behind a document that outlasts your internship.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-have:
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or postgraduate in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering, BBA, B.Com,
or MBA (Operations / Supply Chain)
- Based in Chennai with a workable daily commute to Manjambakkam, or able to arrange accommodation nearby
- Available Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM, on-site, for at least three months, with no clashing coursework or exams
- Able to build and maintain a tracker in Excel or Google Sheets
- Comfortable calling vendors, technicians, and clients
- Fluent Hindi and English
- Willing to work in a warehouse and at client sites
Good-to-have:
- Prior internship in operations, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or warehousing
- Exposure to inventory, dispatch documentation, or purchase orders
- Conversational Tamil
- Familiarity with an ERP, inventory, or ticketing tool
- Hands-on workshop, fabrication, electrical, or plumbing exposure
THE HONEST PICTURE What makes it worth it: You will see the full physical chain, from purchase order to installed equipment at a five-star hotel or IPL facility. You get real responsibility within three months, direct access to how a growing company runs, and something concrete to show at the end. Strong performers are considered for a full-time Operations Executive role.
What will be demanding: Six days a week, full hours, on-site. Manjambakkam is in north Chennai, so please work out your commute honestly before applying. Expect dust, heat, heavy equipment, repetitive follow-up work, and the occasional late installation day. Nobody will chase you for updates; ownership is expected.
ON COMPLETION
Internship certificate, a written performance review, and consideration for a full-time Operations Executive role.
