Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hosur, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing and operational activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe plant operations. This role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The Operations

Manager will manage resources, lead and develop operations teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methods and industry best practices.

Responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and supporting technology, automation, and capacity enhancement projects.



The role requires regular performance reporting, problem-solving on the shop floor, and active collaboration with supply chain, quality, maintenance, and senior leadership to support Titan’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Robust operations management skills, including production planning, process optimization, and resource allocation.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in consumer products, watches, jewelry, or related sectors.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and use of tools such as Excel, ERP/MRP systems, or manufacturing software.
- Knowledge of quality management, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and standard operating procedures.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices in a plant setting.
- Strong people management capabilities, including team leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to work under time and cost constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in operations or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience in managing large teams or sections within a manufacturing unit; experience in high-volume production environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Hosur and adapt to dynamic business needs while upholding Titan
