About YAAS:
Most brands rent their distribution - through performance marketing, influencers, or something they don’t own. At YAAS, we help brands build distribution they do own.
We do this by building and managing organic media IPs on Instagram and YouTube for them, end-to-end. From deciding what the IP should be and who it should serve, to branding, topics, scripting, presenting, production, editing and channel growth - we assemble dedicated teams that build these IPs like long-term media assets for brands.
Today, YAAS is a team of 300+ people building 100+ channels that collectively generate over a billion views every month. We work with brands like Coca Cola, Zerodha, Zoho, Vodafone-Idea, one8, Nothing, and a lot more.
We believe every brand will need to own its distribution - either by force or by choice. Our goal is to build the media infrastructure that makes that possible.
The Role:
Presenters are the faces of the IPs we build. Every IP starts with a format, a script and a screenplay put together by our content team. Your job is to understand what that content is trying to say and bring it to life on camera, so it comes out even better than it was on paper.
Every IP needs its own energy, tone and way of speaking, and you'll shape your delivery to fit it. The brands we work with expect a very high standard, so the bar for every video is close to perfection. You'll work closely with the Content Lead on the creative side of every shoot. That means joining pre-production meetings, rehearsing ahead of shoot days, and working through each script until the delivery is right.
This is a part-time role. You'll shoot with us twice a week at our two studios in the YAAS office in Hebbal, Bengaluru. We usually batch-shoot, so each visit covers several videos at once, and we'll work out a schedule that suits both of us. On shoot days you'll have the full support of the Content Lead, the production team and the Account Manager.
As an IP grows, it grows on the back of your face and your delivery. That brings recognition, and because the role is part-time, it can sit alongside your job,
business or anything else you do.
Most presenting and production work runs project to project, so income comes and goes. Our IPs run for the long term, so you get a steady routine of two shoot days a week and a flat monthly fee. It's a reliable second income, and shooting content with our team is a lot of fun.
What We're Looking For:
- You're comfortable in front of the camera, and you can present or act in a way that lifts the content instead of just reading it out.
- You speak English well. Some IPs use a mix of English and Hindi, so being comfortable with both helps.
- You can change your delivery style based on direction, and you enjoy doing it.
You don't need past presenting or acting experience. Many of the presenters working with us today had none before they joined. We're open to all genders and age groups, since different IPs need different faces. If you do have past work, include it in your application and we'll go through it.
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role comes down to how well you bring the content to life. That means being versatile and quick to adapt when direction changes on set, and doing justice to the scripts and screenplays your Content Lead has written.
It also means being someone the team enjoys working with: committing to your two shoot days a week, keeping reschedules rare, and adapting as the format changes over time, which it will as the IP grows.
Who You'll Work With:
- Content Lead: your main creative partner. You'll work with them on everything creative, from pre-production meetings to how each video is shot and delivered.
- Account Manager: handles operations, such as scheduling shoots and planning monthly deliverables.
- Production team:
on set with you on every shoot day to make sure everything comes together.
How We Work: YAAS runs on a dedicated team model: every IP has its own pod, supported by shared teams across production, design and sound design.
Over time, people here build expertise in different niches. Some do their best work in health content, others in tech or finance. We keep track of where each person's strengths lie, and that shapes which new IPs they take on.
The best part of working at YAAS is the osmosis. With 100+ channels across different niches running under one roof, and most of what makes content work not being tied to any one niche, there's a constant flow of learning between channels and between people. Every IP sits on a company-wide leaderboard, and what's working on one channel quickly gets picked up and tried on others. That's a big part of what makes the office a fun place to be.
For presenters in particular, we work with a large group of people, and both our studios run close to full capacity. That makes reliability important: shoots happen on time, reschedules are rare, and you can commute to our Hebbal office twice a week.
We also believe in bringing on fresh faces and growing them into the faces of our channels, so we usually don't need people who are already well known online or present professionally. Some projects do call for that, though, so if that's you, please apply too. We have no preference either way.
The Hiring Process:
1. Intro chat. Once you apply, our team will get in touch for a quick conversation.
2. Audition. You can send a phone audition or come down to our studio. If your phone audition goes well, we'll follow it with a studio audition.
3. Brand pitches. Once your audition is in, we start pitching you for relevant IPs. Casting is a joint decision between YAAS and the brand, so your audition needs to be selected by the brand as well. We'll keep you posted as it moves across different pitches.
4. Getting started. Once you're selected for an IP, we'll close the commercials and contract with you and get started.
