Role Description This is a part-time, remote OCI & SaaS Security role focused on safeguarding cloud infrastructure and applications. The role involves monitoring security events, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing security controls across OCI and SaaS environments.

Responsibilities include reviewing access controls, configuring security policies, supporting incident response activities, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of security configurations and procedures. The position also requires collaborating with development and operations teams, contributing to security best practices,



and assisting with regular security assessments and compliance checks.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in cybersecurity, with the ability to assess risks and apply security best practices across cloud and application environments.
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure network design for OCI and SaaS-based solutions.
- Knowledge of information security principles, including data protection, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of physical security concepts and their relationship to overall security posture for IT infrastructure.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and clearly document security findings and recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with OCI or other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS security configuration and monitoring.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and cloud security posture management solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CCSP, OCI Security, or equivalent) are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time schedules effectively, and adapt to changing security requirements.
