Role Description The New Product Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the chhatrapati sambhajinagar Division. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end product development activities, including concept creation, detailed design, prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical and automotive components or systems.

The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure products meet performance, safety, cost, and timeline requirements. Daily tasks include conducting technical research,



preparing engineering documentation and drawings, coordinating design reviews, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in existing product lines. The role also involves regular communication with internal stakeholders and, when required, OEM customers and external partners to align product specifications with business and market needs.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on exposure to automotive or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience in Product Development and Product Design, including CAD tools and design-for-manufacturability principles.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) activities, such as prototyping, testing, data analysis, and problem-solving for new products.
- Effective Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and interaction with customers and partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety requirements, and quality systems relevant to automotive or industrial products.
- Ability to work in office in a dynamic manufacturing and engineering environment in chhatrapati sambhajinagar Division.
- Experience with PLM systems, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA/PFMEA is an advantage.
- Exposure to electric vehicles, energy storage, or renewable energy technologies is beneficial.
