About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer - SD-WAN & FortiGate to support large-scale SD-WAN transformation and migration programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in network implementation, migration execution, operational support, configuration validation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and hypercare activities. This role requires strong expertise in WAN technologies, Fortinet solutions, routing protocols, VPN technologies, and enterprise network operations to ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of critical network infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

- Validate network device inventory and deployment readiness.
- Collect, review, and maintain WAN circuit inventory information.
- Support network documentation and implementation planning activities.
- Analyze network configurations and deployment requirements.




- Assist in SD-WAN and FortiGate configuration deployment activities.
- Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment validation testing.
- Conduct network health checks and performance assessments.
- Configure and support network monitoring tools and alerts.
- Validate connectivity across branch, data center, and cloud environments.
- Support migration windows and planned implementation activities.
- Execute migration runbooks and operational procedures.
- Capture migration evidence and maintain implementation records.
- Support rollback and contingency activities during migration events.
- Update migration trackers, status reports, and deployment documentation.
- Perform incident triage and initial fault isolation.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and connectivity issues.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change tickets.
- Provide operational reports and implementation status updates.
- Coordinate escalations with L3 teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Create build records, implementation documents, and deployment reports.
- Document validation results, testing outcomes, and migration evidence.
- Maintain as-built documentation and operational procedures.
- Support knowledge transfer activities and operational handovers.
- Participate in hypercare support following migration activities.
- Ensure adherence to operational processes, standards, and SLAs.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Support.
- Strong experience supporting enterprise WAN and SD-WAN environments.
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls and Fortinet networking solutions.
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN deployment, migration, and support activities.
- Experience with Route Redistribution and enterprise routing architectures.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting IPsec VPN solutions.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, MPLS, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience working with firewall technologies and network security concepts.




- Familiarity with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience supporting migration execution, rollback activities, and hypercare support.
- Ability to analyze and validate network configurations and deployment plans.
- Experience with network monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
- Strong incident triage and escalation management capabilities.
- Experience creating technical documentation, build records, and test evidence.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
