Job Summary

We are looking for an qualified MIG Welder to perform MIG/MAG welding operations for fabrication and production activities. The candidate should be able to read basic drawings, operate welding equipment safely, and produce welds according to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG/MAG welding on MS, SS, and other specified materials.
- Set up and operate MIG welding machines, including selection of voltage, current, wire speed, and gas flow.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Prepare, align, tack, and weld components as per drawings and specifications.
- Check weld quality, dimensions, and appearance.
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded components when required.
- Identify and report welding defects such as porosity, undercut, cracks, and lack of fusion.
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow production targets, quality requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the welding and fabrication area.




- Use PPE such as welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes, and protective clothing.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of MIG/MAG welding processes.
- Ability to operate MIG welding machines safely.
- Basic understanding of welding parameters and consumables.
- Ability to read simple fabrication drawings.
- Valuable hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and 5S practices.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred
- 0–3 years of experience in fabrication, automotive, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with robotic or semi-automatic MIG welding is an advantage.
- Knowledge of weld inspection and basic measuring instruments is an advantage.

Salary ₹12000-25000 per month, depending on qualification and experience.

Production Supervisor / Welding Supervisor / Shop Floor In-charge

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
