Role Description The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This role involves conducting financial and business analysis to support M&A; transactions, including market research, industry benchmarking, and target company assessments.

The analyst will assist in valuation exercises, prepare detailed financial models, and support due diligence processes by gathering, reviewing, and interpreting financial and operational information. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing presentations, investment memos,



and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, as well as coordinating with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions. The role also involves monitoring deal progress, identifying key risks and opportunities, and contributing to strategic recommendations for clients and promoters.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking.
- Solid foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to interpret financial statements and business performance metrics.
- Hands-on experience or training in Valuation techniques, such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and transaction multiples.
- Exposure to or understanding of Due Diligence processes, including financial, legal, and operational review.
- CA / ICWA / MBA or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or related fields is an advantage.
