Job Summary

Responsible for collecting, processing, testing, and reporting laboratory samples accurately and safely while maintaining quality standards and patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and properly label blood, urine, and other clinical specimens.
- Perform routine hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and clinical pathology tests as assigned.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Prepare reagents and maintain adequate laboratory supplies.
- Follow SOPs, infection-control practices, and laboratory safety procedures.
- Record and verify test results accurately.
- Maintain quality-control and quality-assurance records.
- Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Report critical or abnormal results promptly to the appropriate medical staff.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and laboratory documentation.

Qualifications
- DMLT / B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Relevant hospital/laboratory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety, quality control, and infection prevention practices.

- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends when required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospital environment.

- Effective coordination with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
