About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Medical Coding Trainer to join our team and help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of medical coding concepts and a genuine interest in teaching and mentoring learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging, hands-on training sessions on Medical Coding.
- Train learners on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding concepts and guidelines.
- Explain medical coding concepts through practical examples and case studies.
- Guide and support learners throughout their training journey.
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure high-quality training and continuous skill development.
- Prepare training materials, assessments, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Help learners develop the skills required to become job-ready healthcare professionals.
- Stay updated with relevant medical coding standards, guidelines, and industry practices.

Requirements




- Relevant experience in Medical Coding and/or Medical Coding Training is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
- Relevant graduation or certification in Medical Coding/Healthcare is preferred.
- Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or educator will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Strong mentoring, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
