Job Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Attend mechanical breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime of plant equipment.
- Perform maintenance, repair and replacement of bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, gearboxes, valves, conveyors and other mechanical components.
- Conduct equipment inspection and identify abnormalities during routine rounds.
- Execute dismantling, assembly, alignment and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Support maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and major maintenance jobs.
- Maintain proper records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems and standard maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.




- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe handling of tools and equipment.

Required Experience & Skills
- 3 to 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing / industrial plant environment.
- Valuable hands-on knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience in handling pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, valves and other rotating/static equipment.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and understand equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance tools, measuring instruments and alignment practices.
- Good safety awareness and ability to work in shifts.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing plants, engineering plants, Tyre mfg. plants, steel, cement, glass, automotive or similar process industries.
- Candidates who have worked in continuous/process manufacturing environments will be preferred.
