Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manual Testing Engineer role based in Bengaluru.

The Manual Testing

Engineer will design, prepare, and execute detailed test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability against requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, identifying test scenarios, performing functional and regression testing, documenting defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues. The role involves maintaining structured test documentation, tracking test progress, and contributing to test planning and continuous improvement of QA processes.



The engineer will also participate in release validation, support user acceptance testing, and ensure that quality standards are consistently met before deployment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Test Engineering and Testing, with experience applying structured QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with well-defined Test Cases throughout the development lifecycle.
- Practical expertise in Functional Testing, including regression, integration, and system-level validation.
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and create clear, comprehensive test scenarios and documentation.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying quality risks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a quick-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications; exposure to automation tools or scripting is a plus.
