Job Purpose

 The incumbent will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining product specifications for various projects. This includes collaborating with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications.

 The incumbent will need to have a solid understanding of product specifications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

 Develop, review, and maintain detailed technical product specifications.

 Ensure that specifications are aligned with client requirements and industry standards.

 Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, Govt. authorities, PSUs and internal teams to gather projectspecific requirements and translate them into accurate specifications.

 Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders,



ensuring that all product specifications are understood and adhered to.

 Maintain explicit and comprehensive documentation of all specifications.

 Work closely with the Quality Assurance and R&D; teams to ensure product specifications are feasible,

scalable, and meet quality standards.

 Prepare and present reports on specification development, status, and product performance to management and clients.

 Provide technical training and support to sales teams regarding product specifications and applications.

 Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support product launches, training, and presentations.

 To ensure promotional activities such as Engineer’s meet, Architects meets, exhibitions etc.

 To report competitor's activities in allotted area and suggest counter measures.

 To ensure management of multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Specification

Qualification  Graduate in any discipline. Post-graduation in management is preferred.

 Dip/B. Tech can be added advantage

Experience  8-12 Years’ experience in Building material industry

Preferred Industry  Building Materials

Functional Competency  Business Development, Sales management, Key Account Management,

Stakeholder management
