Purpose of the Role

- Manage procurement activities for MRO (Spares, AMC & Services), Capex and Steel Structurals.

- Implement procurement strategies to ensure security of supply and optimum value for money.

- Analyze market trends, pricing and delivery trends and modify category procurement strategies accordingly.

- Ensure compliance with procurement processes, policies and guidelines to deliver a commercial and cost-effective procurement process.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and value addition to drive procurement performance and business results.

- Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting activities including vendor pre-qualification, negotiations, CS preparation, PO preparation and delivery follow-up.

- Prepare and maintain monthly MIS and procurement reports.

- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across functions.





- Support business continuity and vendor plant audits, wherever applicable, to support plant and business growth.

Functional / Technical Competencies

- Working knowledge of procurement and sourcing techniques with the ability to understand and assess market trends.

- Robust negotiation and networking skills.

- Good numerical and analytical aptitude.

- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret procurement data.

- Ability to identify and implement process solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior management as well as Engineering, Stores, Accounts, Commercial, Plant Quality and Manufacturing teams.
