Retail Management Trainee – Job Roles &

Responsibilities Job Title: Retail Management Trainee Department: Store Operations Industry: Retail / Supermarket Key Responsibilities: Learn and support day-to-day store operations and processes. Assist in managing customer service and customer satisfaction . Support billing, cashiering, and POS operations .

Monitor stock availability, replenishment, and inventory . Ensure proper product display, pricing, and shelf management . Coordinate with store staff and support daily manpower activities. Assist in receiving, checking, and storing merchandise .

Monitor sales, wastage, damages, and stock discrepancies . Maintain store hygiene, safety, and operational standards . Handle customer queries and resolve basic complaints professionally.



Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and operational targets .

Prepare and maintain basic daily store reports . Learn and follow company policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements. Take responsibility for assigned sections and gradually develop team-handling and leadership skills .

Eligibility: Graduate / Post Graduate preferred. Positive communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays. Freshers can be considered.
