Job Summary

Mayura Packaging Private Limited is looking for a responsible and technically skilled Maintenance Incharge to oversee the mechanical and electrical maintenance of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and maintenance of production machinery and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance activities at the plant.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and equipment-related issues.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime through timely maintenance and breakdown resolution.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers, Electricians, Technicians and maintenance staff.
- Monitor the condition and performance of machinery, motors, pumps, compressors, electrical panels and other plant equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, control panels, motors and related equipment.




- Handle mechanical maintenance including bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, pumps and other machine components.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper availability and usage of maintenance tools, spare parts and consumables.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure secure maintenance practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery and electrical equipment.
- Experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment will be preferred.
- Good team-handling, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at our Palladam manufacturing facility.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
