Job Summary

We are seeking a a Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery in the PSG Foundry Division, ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations, quality output, and smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities

● Operate and monitor foundry and production machinery as per standard operating procedures and production requirements.

● Set up machines, load materials, and ensure proper machine parameters before starting production.

● Monitor machine performance and production processes to maintain quality, productivity, and efficiency.

● Perform routine machine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, basic maintenance, and minor adjustments.

● Identify and report machine breakdowns, abnormalities, defects, and production issues to the supervisor.

● Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, operating instructions, and workplace regulations.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and work area. Record production output, machine operation, downtime, material usage, and other required data.

● Handle raw materials, tools, and finished components safely and as per prescribed procedures.

● Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to achieve daily production and quality targets.





● Support inspection and quality-control activities and ensure products meet the required specifications.

● Perform other machine operation and production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

● ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Foundry, Fitter, Machinist, or a relevant technical discipline.

● 0–3 years of experience in machine operation, foundry, manufacturing, or a similar industrial workplace.

● Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.

● Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, production processes, and machine maintenance.

● Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to follow safety procedures, production instructions, and quality standards.

● Good discipline, teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

● Ability to work in a shift-based manufacturing environment.
