About the RoleTrilogy India is seeking an experienced Lead Solutions Architect – Private LTE / 5G & Industrial Applications to work closely with Trilogy NextGen’s US team and global enterprise customers.
This role sits at the intersection of private cellular networking, industrial operational technology (OT), edge computing, and enterprise applications.
You will help architect, deploy, and support end-to-end Private LTE and 5G solutions for environments including heavy industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, warehouses, logistics hubs, ports, and other mission-critical operations.
We are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on and architectural experience with private wireless platforms such as:
- Nokia NDAC – Digital Automation Cloud
- Ericsson Private 5G / EP5G
- Celona Enterprise 5G
The ideal candidate understands not only the cellular network, but also the industrial applications that depend on it—including AMRs/AGVs, computer vision, worker safety, industrial telemetry, push-to-talk/video, scanners, IoT devices, and edge applications. What You’ll DoPrivate LTE / 5G Architecture
- Lead technical design of end-to-end Private LTE and 5G SA/NSA networks.
- Architect solutions spanning RAN, small cells, EPC/5GC, UPF, enterprise LAN/WAN, edge infrastructure, and cloud connectivity.
- Develop multi-vendor designs using Nokia NDAC, Ericsson Private 5G, and Celona.
- Design for capacity, coverage, mobility, availability, and application-performance requirements.
- Support RF planning including link budgets, coverage models, TDD configurations, and capacity planning.
- Support private spectrum strategies including CBRS / Band 48, GAA/PAL, SAS, and other private mid-band/sub-6 GHz spectrum models.
Industrial OT & Application IntegrationArchitect private wireless connectivity for applications including:
- AMRs and AGVs
- Warehouse scanners and RFID systems
- Industrial IoT and telemetry
- PLC and SCADA environments
- Machine vision and edge-based computer vision
- Condition monitoring
- Digital twins
- Connected-worker applications
- Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk / Push-to-Video
- Remote equipment operation
- Drone inspection
- Safety and wearable technologies
Work with application and equipment vendors to validate:
- Latency requirements
- QoS
- Network slicing
- Mobility and handover
- Uplink/downlink performance
- Reliability in complex industrial and RF-reflective environments
Deployment & Integration
- Provide remote technical leadership during solution staging, deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Support zero-touch provisioning and edge-server deployment.
- Define SIM/eSIM lifecycle and provisioning strategies.
- Configure APN and routing strategies for enterprise applications.
- Support industrial cellular gateways and routers including platforms such as Cradlepoint, Cisco, Inseego, and MultiTech.
- Design secure connectivity between cellular networks, enterprise infrastructure, edge environments, and cloud platforms.
- Support architectures involving:
- IPsec
- Firewalls
- NAT
- Micro-segmentation
- Zero Trust
- Local breakout
- Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC)
Customer & Technical Leadership
- Work directly with Trilogy NextGen US leadership, solution teams, and enterprise customers.
- Participate in customer discovery workshops and technical architecture sessions.
- Support pre-sales technical assessments and solution design.
- Translate business and operational requirements into technical architectures.
- Explain complex wireless and networking concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership during deployment and production support.
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning:
- RF
- RAN
- Cellular core
- Enterprise networking
- Edge infrastructure
- Applications
- End-user devices
Lifecycle OperationsHelp establish operational practices for:
- Network monitoring
- Performance baselining
- Capacity management
- Firmware and software updates
- Incident troubleshooting
- KPI reporting
Key metrics may include:
- RSRP / RSRQ
- SINR
- Packet loss
- Jitter
- Latency
- Throughput
- Handover performance
- Device and network availability
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of wireless network engineering experience.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on Private LTE / 5G experience in enterprise or industrial environments.
- Strong experience with one or more of the following, with exposure across the broader ecosystem strongly preferred:
- Nokia NDAC
- Ericsson Private 5G / EP5G
- Celona 5G LAN
- Robust understanding of LTE and 5G RAN architecture.
- Knowledge of EPC, 5GC, UPF, small-cell architectures, and private cellular networks.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards and concepts, particularly Releases 15/16/17.
- Strong enterprise networking knowledge including:
- TCP/IP
- VLANs
- BGP
- OSPF
- VXLAN
- NAT
- IPsec
- QoS
- Understanding of CBRS, GAA/PAL, SAS interactions, and private spectrum models.
- Experience integrating wireless networks into enterprise IT and OT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and packet-analysis skills.
- Experience with Wireshark or similar tools.
Industrial Technology ExperienceExperience or familiarity with technologies such as:
- Modbus
- PROFINET
- Ethernet/IP
- MQTT
- OPC-UA
- Industrial IoT gateways
- PLC / SCADA environments
- Purdue Model / OT network segmentation
Experience with industrial environments such as manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, mining, ports, energy, or heavy industry is highly desirable. Preferred Experience
- RF planning tools such as iBwave, Atoll, or EDX.
- VMware ESXi or KVM.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Edge-computing architectures.

EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

- Willingness to adjust working hours when needed to support North American and European customers and Trilogy NextGen leadership.
EmploymentThis is a full-time remote position with Trilogy India. You will work closely with Trilogy NextGen’s US organization and enterprise customers on private wireless, industrial IoT, edge-computing, and digital-transformation initiatives.
We are looking for someone who understands that a successful private 5G deployment is about more than RF coverage.
