Lead Cloud Network Security Engineer

Experience: 7–10 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Lead/Principal Cloud Network Security Engineer to design, implement and continuously improve perimeter and internal network security controls across GCP, AWS and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and engineering of WAF, DDoS protection, firewalls and network security controls .
- Work extensively with GCP Cloud Armor, AWS WAF and AWS Shield .
- Design secure north-south and east-west traffic flows , network segmentation and secure ingress/egress.
- Manage cloud networking components including load balancers, DNS, TLS, routing and firewall policies .
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and support automated deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform WAF rule design, tuning, testing and exception management.




- Implement monitoring and integrate security alerts with Google SecOps and ServiceNow .
- Provide technical support during DDoS, application-layer and network-security incidents .
- Conduct design reviews, maintain architecture documentation/runbooks and provide technical guidance to engineers.
- Support production changes, testing, rollback and operational readiness.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong production experience with WAF and DDoS controls .
- GCP Cloud Armor and AWS WAF.
- AWS Shield, cloud networking, firewalls and segmentation.
- Advanced Terraform experience.
- Cloud, hybrid and Kubernetes network security.
- Robust technical leadership and stakeholder management.
