Job Summary The Leads Auditor is responsible for auditing, monitoring, tracking, and maintaining the quality and accuracy of all leads received by the law firm.
The role involves reviewing each lead from the time it is received until its final outcome, including the source of the lead, lead quality, information accuracy, follow-up, appointment status, consultation, conversion, and final disposition.
The Leads Auditor will also be responsible for ensuring that all lead-related information is properly and accurately updated in the firm's CRM and that lead data is maintained in an organized and reliable manner for management reporting and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Auditing
Audit each and every lead received by the firm.
Verify whether lead information has been entered correctly in the CRM.
Check the accuracy and completeness of lead details.
Review the lead journey from initial contact to final outcome.
Identify duplicate, incomplete, incorrect, invalid, or poor-quality leads.
Verify whether leads are being handled according to established procedures.
- Lead Source Audit
Track and verify the source of every lead.
Monitor leads received from Google, social media, referrals, websites, campaigns, advertisements, existing clients, and other sources.
Identify which sources generate the highest quantity of leads.
Track the quality and conversion performance of individual lead sources.
Report unusual changes, incorrect source tagging, or discrepancies.
- Lead Quality Audit
Assess the quality of incoming leads based on established criteria.
Identify positive, bad, non-convertible, duplicate, and incomplete leads.
Review whether the lead is relevant to the firm's services.
Track patterns in poor-quality or non-convertible leads.
Maintain records of recurring lead-quality issues.
- Conversion Tracking
Track the outcome of each lead.

Calculate and maintain lead conversion data.
Identify discrepancies between leads received and leads recorded as converted or non-converted.
- CRM Management
Manually update and maintain the firm's CRM on a regular basis.
Ensure that every lead is properly recorded.
Update lead status and outcome accurately.
Maintain accurate source, appointment, consultation, and conversion information.
Correct data-entry errors and missing information.
Ensure that CRM records remain current and organized.
- Lead Quantity & Performance Tracking
Maintain daily and periodic records of the number of leads received.
Compare lead quantity across different sources, campaigns, locations, and time periods.
Track changes in lead volume.
Identify significant increases or decreases in lead generation.
Prepare data for management review.
- Data Verification & Quality Control
Cross-check CRM data against available call records, appointment records, trackers, and other relevant systems.
Identify inconsistencies between different records.
Report inaccurate or missing information.
Maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Ensure that lead information is not unnecessarily duplicated.

Prepare regular reports covering
Total leads received
Lead sources
Lead quality
Conversion performance
Appointment performance
Non-convertible leads
Bad/invalid leads
Source-wise performance
Office/location-wise performance
Significant changes or discrepancies
Lead-related issues requiring management attention
Reports should be accurate, concise, and supported by CRM data.
- Trend & Issue Identification
Identify recurring patterns in lead quality and conversion.
Highlight sources producing a high number of poor-quality leads.
Identify gaps in lead handling or CRM updates.
Bring unusual trends and discrepancies to management's attention.
Maintain a record of recurring lead-related issues.
- Coordination The Leads Auditor may coordinate with:
Lead generation/marketing team
Callers
Sales/Conversion team
Appointment team
Reception team
Quality Control team
Management The purpose of coordination is to verify lead information and maintain accurate records, not to take over the responsibilities of the respective teams.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related IT field is required.
Preferred educational backgrounds include:
BCA
B.Sc.
Computer Science / IT
B.Tech / B.E. – IT or Computer Science
BBM/BBA with solid technical/data-management skills may be considered depending on experience.
Technical Skills
Positive knowledge of computers and data management.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to work with CRM systems.
Strong data-entry and data-verification skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret basic numerical data.
Familiarity with dashboards, reports, and spreadsheets is preferred.
Ability to identify data inconsistencies and errors.

Important Requirement The Leads Auditor must ensure that no lead is left untracked or unaudited. Every lead should have a clear record of its:
