Job Summary

We are looking for a Lab Chemist to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished biscuits as per FSSAI and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Test incoming raw materials (flour, sugar, fat, milk powder, leavening agents, etc.) for quality parameters.
- Conduct in-process and finished product checks: moisture, weight, thickness, colour, texture, taste, and packaging.
- Perform lab tests such as moisture content, ash, acidity, fat content, and gluten (as applicable).
- Maintain accurate records of test results, batch reports, and COAs.
- Calibrate and maintain lab instruments and equipment.
- Report deviations and non-conforming products to the QA Manager.




- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the laboratory.
- Support internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of basic lab testing methods and instruments (moisture analyzer, weighing balance, pH meter, etc.).
- Positive documentation and MS Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.

Preferred

- Prior experience in a bakery, biscuit, or food manufacturing unit.
