Junior Project Manager Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing software development projects from initiation through successful delivery.

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in coordination with clients, Business Development, and internal stakeholders.

- Prepare project plans, timelines, task schedules, and resource allocations under the guidance of the Project Manager or Management.

- Coordinate with Development, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion of deliverables.

- Monitor project progress, track milestones, identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and escalate issues to Management with appropriate mitigation plans.

- Ensure project deliverables are completed within the defined scope, schedule, quality standards, and business objectives.

- Facilitate project meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review meetings, and prepare meeting minutes with actionable follow-ups.

- Maintain effective communication with clients by providing regular project updates, collecting feedback, and ensuring timely resolution of queries.

- Track project budgets,



resource utilization, effort estimates, and project schedules, and assist in maintaining project cost efficiency.

- Coordinate change requests, requirement modifications, and scope updates while ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder approval.

- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirement documents, status reports, risk registers, meeting minutes, release notes, and project closure reports.

- Ensure accurate updates in the Project Management System and monitor task completion across all project teams.

- Work closely with Technical Leads to understand project progress, technical dependencies, and delivery commitments.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, production releases, and post-implementation activities.

- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC processes, organizational policies, quality standards, and information security guidelines.

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve project execution, communication, team collaboration, and operational efficiency.
