Role Description The Junior Electrical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role involves assisting in the design and review of electrical systems and layouts for power distribution and control panels, under the guidance of senior engineers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and documentation, supporting load calculations, and contributing to the selection of electrical equipment and components. The junior engineer will visit project sites to support installation, testing, and commissioning activities,



and help troubleshoot basic electrical issues. The role also requires maintaining compliance with safety standards, coordinating with project teams, and updating project reports and records.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering with practical understanding of Electricity and electrical safety principles.
- Ability to support Electrical Design activities, including layout preparation and basic calculations for systems and panels.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution systems and components used in commercial and industrial installations.
- Understanding of Power Systems operation, including load management, fault analysis basics, and system reliability.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Basic familiarity with relevant standards and codes for electrical installations and panels.
- Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CAD or electrical design software is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, willingness to work in office, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
