About the role

Denary Media is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting for our media and marketing business. You will handle client billing, vendor and freelancer payments, GST and TDS compliance, and reconciliations, and give management accurate, timely financial records. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is a solid plus.

Key responsibilities

- Record daily transactions — sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries — accurately in the accounting system
- Raise monthly retainer and project invoices for clients and follow up on receivables
- Process payments to vendors, freelancers, production partners and creators after verifying bills and approvals
- Track and reconcile ad-spend payments (Meta, Google and other platforms) and allocate them client-wise
- Do bank, cash, vendor and customer ledger reconciliations regularly
- Compute GST and TDS; support filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and TDS returns, and reconcile GSTR-2B input credit
- Manage employee expense claims and petty cash




- Coordinate with HR on payroll entries, PF/ESI and statutory payments
- Prepare monthly MIS — client-wise revenue, receivables/payables ageing and expense summaries
- Keep vouchers and supporting documents audit-ready; support month-end closing and coordinate with the CA / auditors

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in accounting
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Experience with accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / similar)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
- Clear communication in English and Hindi / Telugu

Good to have

- Experience with Zoho Books (strong plus)
- Prior experience in a digital marketing, advertising or media agency
- Familiarity with client-wise billing and ad-spend reconciliation
- Pursuing CA Inter / CMA Inter
