Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ivanti Secure (Pulse Secure) Engineer to join our cybersecurity and network security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Ivanti Secure Access (formerly Pulse Secure) solutions. The role involves implementing secure remote access solutions, VPN technologies, authentication integrations, and ensuring secure connectivity across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and support Ivanti Secure Access / Pulse Secure VPN infrastructure.
- Manage SSL VPN, remote access VPN, and secure access gateway solutions.
- Configure and maintain authentication mechanisms including LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS, SAML, and MFA integrations.
- Monitor VPN performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Perform software upgrades, patches, and security updates on Ivanti Secure appliances.
- Support high-availability and disaster recovery configurations.
- Work closely with network, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents.
- Create operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments,



and remediation activities.
- Provide L2/L3 support and manage critical incidents.

Required Skills
- Robust experience with Ivanti Secure Access (Pulse Secure) solutions.
- Hands-on expertise in SSL VPN, Network Access Control (NAC), and Remote Access Technologies.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Switching, and Firewall Technologies.
- Experience integrating VPN solutions with Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, and SAML.
- Understanding of MFA solutions such as Azure MFA, RSA SecureID, Duo, etc.
- Experience with security appliances and enterprise networking environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.

Desired Skills
- Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Check Point, or F5 technologies.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Python, or Shell Scripting.
- Understanding of Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) concepts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Relevant certifications preferred

- Ivanti/Pulse Secure Certification

- CCNA/CCNP

- CompTIA Security+

- CISSP (Preferred)
