We are currently looking for an Interim Channel Sales Head for one of our clients. Our client is a leading provider of equipments and tools for the construction industry.

This is a 6 months contract full time interim role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Strategy

- Evaluate the current channel structure, coverage and productivity.
- Develop a clear channel strategy aligned to growth objectives.
- Identify priority geographies, markets and customer segments.

2. Channel Expansion

- Identify, appoint and onboard current dealers/distributors in priority markets.
- Build a systematic pipeline of potential channel partners.
- Expand geographic coverage and market penetration.
- Develop relationships with key and strategic channel partners.

3. Channel Productivity

- Improve sales productivity of existing dealers/distributors.
- Develop mechanisms for primary and secondary sales tracking.




- Establish channel targets, incentives and performance metrics.
- Address inactive, underperforming and overlapping channel partners.
- Improve inventory movement and channel economics.

4. Sales Team Leadership

- Work with the existing sales team to strengthen channel management capabilities.
- Establish clear territory, partner and revenue ownership.
- Coach the team on distributor acquisition, activation and development.

5. Commercial Management

- Develop an understanding of dealer margins, pricing, schemes and credit terms.
- Improve channel profitability while driving volume growth.
- Monitor receivables, inventory and working-capital implications of channel expansion.
