About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and technical operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, serverless architecture, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and technical support.

You will work closely with frontend and backend developers to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and scale modern web applications built with Next.js, React, Python, FastAPI, and AWS Lambda.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECR, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployments.

Deploy and manage containerized Python and FastAPI applications using Docker, Amazon ECR, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.

Manage infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

Configure and maintain development, staging, and production environments.

Support Next.js and React application deployments, environment configurations, CDN, and SSL.

Provide technical support to development teams, troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, and resolve deployment failures.

Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.

Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization using AWS CloudWatch.

Manage AWS security, IAM policies, secrets management, access controls, and infrastructure updates.

Support local development and integration testing using LocalStack and Docker Compose.

Assist developers with environment setup, API integrations, configuration issues, and technical troubleshooting.

Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, infrastructure diagrams, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

3–4 years of professional experience in AWS DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and serverless architecture.

Proficiency in Docker, CI/CD pipeline development, and deployment automation.

Experience deploying Python and FastAPI applications on AWS Lambda.

Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

Understanding of API Gateway, REST APIs, networking, IAM, and cloud security.

Experience with monitoring, logging, production support, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Next.js deployment workflows and frontend environment configuration.

Solid technical troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Experience supporting development teams and resolving technical issues.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Engineer Professional.

Experience with multi-tenant applications and secure JWT-based authentication.

Familiarity with CloudFront, Route 53, AWS WAF, and cloud cost optimization.

Experience with automated security scanning and infrastructure testing.
