Senior Developer, IFS Application Technical (Data Migration / Integration)

Location: Bhubaneswar (Barabati)

Experience: 6-8 years (10+ years overall desirable)

Role Overview The Senior Developer works with the Project Manager and the IFS Development Team on service operations technology powered by IFS components. The role covers integration, technical configuration, data migration and support for IFS Cloud MRO implementations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with the Project Manager and IFS Development Team to deliver service operations technology on IFS components.
2. Design, develop and maintain integrations between IFS Applications and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, PLM, financial systems).
3. Configure and customize the IFS system within recommended best practices.
4. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable .NET code, setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development life cycle.
5. Meet architecture requirements and ensure effective design, development, validation and support activities.
6. Work with both external and embedded databases, creating schemas that represent and support business processes.
7. Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely solutions.
9. Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.
10. Support Cutover, UAT, Go-Live and Hypercare during IFS Cloud implementation and deployment.

Work with functional and technical stakeholders to understand business requirements, troubleshoot issues and deliver practical IFS Cloud MRO solutions.
12. Handle user queries, training and documentation as part of IFS implementation and support.

Essential Skills

1. Experience: minimum 4-5 years in IFS ERP Technical, Integration and Data Migration (10+ years overall desirable).
2. IFS Cloud: experience as a Technical Consultant, preferably on IFS ERP Cloud 22R2 or higher.
3. Integrations: strong understanding of IFS Cloud integrations, with hands-on REST APIs and Projections.
4. Database: solid SQL/PLSQL for data analysis, data validation, troubleshooting, root-cause investigation and resolving application issues.
5. Project phases: Cutover, UAT, Go-Live and Hypercare.
6. Base technical areas: Base Server development, configuration and version control.
7. MRO domain: understanding of Work Orders, Component Repair, Resources and BOMs.
8. Implementation and support: IFS implementation and support experience, plus knowledge of implementation and upgrade methodologies.
9. Configuration: ability to configure and customize IFS within best practices.
10. Stakeholder work: ability to work with functional and technical stakeholders on requirements and issues.

Desirable Skills

- Experience in other functional modules, such as Planning & Scheduling, Projects and Supply Chain.
- 10+ years of overall experience.
