Role Description The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting the full employee lifecycle in a hospital environment. This full-time, in office role based in Chandigarh includes overseeing recruitment processes, onboarding, and induction programs, as well as maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation. The specialist will administer HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management procedures, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and organizational standards.
Daily activities also involve handling employee queries, supporting performance management and training initiatives,
coordinating with hospital leadership on workforce planning, and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with BR Healthcare’s patient-centric mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) operations, including HR Management in a healthcare or service-oriented setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR Policies and procedures, with the ability to develop, implement, and update policy frameworks.
- Hands-on experience managing Employee Benefits and Personnel Management, including payroll coordination, leave administration, and employee records.
- Familiarity with labor laws, regulatory compliance, and best practices in ethical, non-discriminatory HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS), MS Office, and basic data reporting for HR metrics and analytics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh and support flexible working hours as needed in a hospital setting.
