Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary administration. The role will also support statutory compliance, employee records, payroll reporting, and coordination with HR and other department teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees.
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, overtime, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll components.
- Maintain and verify employee attendance, leave, and payroll-related data.
- Handle payroll inputs and coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments for timely processing.
- Manage statutory deductions and compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports, salary registers, and MIS.
- Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and payroll-related accounting entries.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, pay-slips, and other payroll matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
- Support payroll audits and provide required documents and reports.
- Ensure timely filing and maintenance of statutory payroll records and documentation.
- Identify payroll discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll and statutory regulations.
- Support other HR Operations activities as required.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances.
- Good understanding of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and applicable labour regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and payroll systems.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage payroll timelines and work under pressure.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA-HR will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic data analysis.
- Experience with payroll – SPINE software / HRMS / ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of payroll-related statutory filings and documentation.

Compensation is not a constraint for the right candidate and will be commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, and overall suitability for the role.
