ABOUT THE ROLE

Suruchi Bazar is looking for a agile and result-oriented HR Manager to lead HR operations, strengthen people management systems and support the growth of our retail business.

– KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for stores, warehouse and corporate office.
- Plan manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring.
- Develop effective recruitment processes and maintain a talent pipeline.
- HR Operations & Payroll
- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination and employee records.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR documentation and employee lifecycle management.
- Establish standardized HR processes across all locations.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
- Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Promote a positive and performance-driven work culture.
- Performance Management & Training
- Implement performance appraisal systems and monitor employee KPIs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Support succession planning and talent development.




- Statutory Compliance & HR Policies
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Develop, review and implement HR policies, SOPs and procedures.
- Maintain statutory records and coordinate inspections and audits.
- HR Strategy & Reporting
- Prepare manpower budgets and HR MIS reports.
- Monitor attrition, absenteeism, recruitment costs and employee productivity.
- Work closely with management and department heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

- MBA / PGDM in Human Resource Management or PMIR.
- 4–7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in retail, FMCG or multi-location operations.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, employee relations and labour law compliance.
- Good understanding of HR policies, performance management and workforce planning.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS and HR reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple HR functions and work independently.
