Role Description The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas in line with Distrikt 9 Hotels & Resorts standards. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and sanitizing rooms and bathrooms, changing linens and towels, replenishing amenities, handling laundry items, and reporting maintenance issues. The role also involves organizing housekeeping carts and storage areas, following safety and hygiene protocols,



and responding politely to guest requests to ensure a positive stay experience.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at Distrikt 9 Hotels & Resorts in Palghat, requiring close coordination with the housekeeping and front office teams.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning, linen handling, and basic garment care.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Good organization skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly storage and work areas.
- Willingness to participate in training and continuously follow hotel standards, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy items during shifts.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products, equipment use, and workplace safety practices.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a clean and comfortable environment for all guests.
