Role Description The Hotel Manager role at Varija Hospitality Services is a full time, on-site position based in the Pune Division.

The Hotel

Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, including front office management, housekeeping coordination, food and beverage service, and guest relations to ensure a high standard of hospitality. The role involves monitoring budgets, managing room occupancy, optimizing revenue, and coordinating with the catering team to maintain service quality across hotel and institutional clients.

Manager will lead and train team members, implement operational policies, handle escalated guest concerns,



maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and collaborate with sales to support business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and guest relations skills, with the ability to create welcoming and memorable experiences.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting for hotel operations.
- Sales and revenue management skills, including room inventory management and upselling of services.
- Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including coordination with catering, menu understanding, and service standards.
- Hands-on experience with receptionist duties such as reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and handling inquiries.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team supervision, scheduling, and performance coaching.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and operational efficiency.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, and familiarity with hotel management or POS software.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management; a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
