SAP Solution Architect

Experience:

- 15+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in either SAP SD or SAP MM.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Good knowledge of FI/CO, PP, QM, EWM/WM, TM, PM/EAM and PS integration.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI and EDI.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout and/or transformation programs.
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, transformations, and integration initiatives.
- Define solution architecture, application landscape, integration architecture and technology choices.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and minimize custom developments.
- Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications and architecture decisions.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, gaps and mitigation approaches.
- Lead solution design for complex business processes within the respective domain.
- Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core and extensibility principles.
- Experience working with global SAP templates and solution governance.
- Assess existing processes and identify opportunities for standardization.
- Support fit-to-standard / fit-to-gap assessments.
- Define migration and transition strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.





Stakeholder Management & Leadership

- Client-Facing Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, managing expectations, leading workshops, and delivering explicit and concise communications.
- Work closely with Business Process Owners, Product Owners, Program Managers, Functional Leads, Technical Architects and Enterprise Architects.
- Act as the bridge between business, functional and technical teams.
- Present solution options, architecture decisions, risks and dependencies to senior management.
- Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
- Provide architectural guidance across multiple workstreams and projects.
- Mentor & Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- SAP S/4HANA certification.
- SAP Fiori, SAP BTP and Integration Suite knowledge.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience with SAP Cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of SAP DRC and country-specific legal requirements.
- Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 and modern SAP UX.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Enterprise Architecture knowledge/frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience with large-scale global SAP programs.
- Industry Experience: Experience in logistics-heavy industries such as manufacturing, distribution, chemical, or high-tech.
