THE POSITION:

A medical coders main goal is to provide coding services to all the health providers who get paid for medical services rendered.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES :

- Graduation, life science background preferably Bio-Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, Physiotherapist, Pharmacy and Nursing. Minimum of 2 years EM Outpatient, Inpatient, and observation
- Should be CIC/CCS/CPC certified through AAPC/AHIMA
- Solid knowledge in anatomy and physiology
- Willing to work for Rotational shifts

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Accurately code physician practitioner services through review of medical record documentation and encounter forms for Outpatient facility.
- Assign EM levels pertaining to Office visit, EM Inpatient & Observation visit, Preventive visit, Critical care codes,



ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and modifiers based on documentation, government teaching physician documentation requirements and LCD/NCD/ NCCI policies.
- Should have working experience in facility coding (Immunizations, Vaccinations, Infusions, Injections, HCPCS CPT series).
- Understand the client requirements and specifications of the project.
- Ensure that deliverable to the client is adhered to the quality standards and productivity TAT.
