We are looking for a hands-on

Head of HR to build and lead the people function for a fast-growing consumer business. This is a

0-to-1 / scale-up HR leadership role for someone who enjoys working closely with founders, building teams, creating processes and culture, and solving people challenges in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner closely with the founders and leadership team on the organisation's people strategy.

- Own

Talent Acquisition across corporate, sales, marketing, e-commerce, supply chain and other functions.

- Build and develop a strong, high-performing HR team.

- Create scalable HR processes across hiring, onboarding, performance management, engagement and employee lifecycle.

- Develop performance management frameworks, KRAs and KPIs across functions.

- Drive organisation design, workforce planning and succession planning as the business scales.

- Build a strong employee culture aligned with the company's values and entrepreneurial environment.

- Own employee engagement, retention and leadership development initiatives.

- Establish compensation structures,



salary benchmarking and reward frameworks.

- Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and build talent pipelines.

- Ensure strong HR governance, policies and compliance while maintaining a startup-friendly culture.

- Use people data and analytics to track hiring, attrition, productivity and other key HR metrics.

Ideal Candidate

- 8–14 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to consumer, FMCG, D2C, retail or new-age businesses

- Experience working in a rapid-growing/start-up environment is strongly preferred.

- Someone who has built or significantly scaled an HR function

, rather than only managed an established HR setup.

- Strong hands-on experience in

Talent Acquisition and building HR teams

.

- Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership.

- Strong business orientation with the ability to balance people priorities with commercial realities.

- Entrepreneurial, agile and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
