CCTV Hardware Design Engineer

Role Summary
Design, develop, validate, and support hardware for IP, Wi-Fi, 4G, PoE, PT/PTZ, dome, and bullet CCTV cameras.
Work with firmware engineers, component suppliers, manufacturing teams, and ODM partners to deliver reliable, production-ready products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop circuit schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware specifications.
Design and integrate camera SoCs, CMOS image sensors, DDR, SPI NOR/NAND flash, Wi-Fi modules, and 4G modules.
Design power supplies, PoE interfaces, IR and white-light LED drivers, audio circuits, and motor drivers.
Implement reverse-polarity, overvoltage, surge, ESD, and thermal protection.
Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, power measurements, and image-sensor interface validation.
Review PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
Qualify alternative components for compatibility, performance, and reliability.
Prepare hardware test reports, engineering change records, and production documentation.
Support SMT assembly, production testing, field failure analysis, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with certification teams for applicable BIS, STQC, and other product requirements.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in embedded hardware design and multilayer PCB development.
Knowledge of MIPI CSI, Ethernet, USB, UART, I²C, SPI, GPIO, and memory interfaces.
Experience with DC-DC converters, LDOs, battery charging, and power protection circuits.
Proficiency in Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or equivalent PCB design tools.
Ability to use oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and laboratory power supplies.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
CCTV/IP camera development using Augentix, Qualcomm, Innofusion,Sigmastar Novatek, or similar platforms.
Sensor integration, IR-cut control, PT/PTZ motor control, and day/night operation.
PoE, solar-powered and battery-operated cameras, and low-power designs.
Hardware security features, secure elements, and production provisioning.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
