Solar Project Head – End-to-End Project Management

Chennai, Tamil Nadu – Head Office

Salary: ₹40,000–₹1,50,000 per month

RMITHA POWER AND INFRA PVT. LTD. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Solar Project Head to lead and manage end-to-end solar project activities from our Chennai Head Office.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project execution experience, team leadership skills, and the ability to manage solar projects from initial planning through commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solar EPC projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.

Manage project planning, feasibility studies, site surveys, engineering, design and execution.

Coordinate procurement, vendors, subcontractors, logistics and material management.

Supervise electrical, civil, mechanical and installation activities.

Monitor project budgets, costing, profitability, schedules and resource allocation.

Ensure quality standards, electrical safety and statutory compliance.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, DISCOMs, government departments and other stakeholders.

Manage project documentation, approvals, testing, commissioning and final handover.

Lead project managers, engineers, site supervisors and execution teams.

Prepare MIS reports, progress reports,



cash-flow forecasts and management updates.

Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.

Candidate Requirements

10–20 years of relevant experience in solar power projects, preferably in EPC project management.

Proven experience handling projects independently from planning to commissioning.

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, modules, HT/LT electrical systems, protection and earthing.

Experience in project costing, BOQ preparation, estimation, procurement and contract management.

Strong leadership, client-handling, coordination and decision-making skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Electrical engineering qualification preferred; relevant solar EPC experience is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Monthly salary: ₹40,000 to ₹1,50,000, depending on experience and suitability.
