Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fundraiser role based in Lucknow. The Fundraiser will research and identify potential donors, partners, and grant opportunities, and maintain a pipeline of prospects for individual, corporate, and institutional giving. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing proposals and grant applications, coordinating fundraising campaigns and events, and managing donor communication through emails, calls, meetings, and presentations.

The role involves maintaining accurate donor records, tracking contributions,



preparing reports, and working closely with program teams to translate impact data into compelling fundraising materials. The Fundraiser will also support outreach activities, build long-term relationships with supporters, and contribute to strategies that increase sustainable funding for animal welfare and community programs.

Qualifications

- Fundraising and development skills, including prospect research, donor stewardship, grant writing, and campaign coordination.
- Relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders through in-person meetings, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Organizational and project management skills, including maintaining databases, tracking deadlines, managing events, and preparing reports.
- Marketing and outreach skills, such as basic digital marketing, social media engagement, and creating clear, persuasive content for fundraising materials.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and represent the organization professionally in external forums.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Development Studies, Communications, Business, or related discipline), or comparable practical experience in fundraising or nonprofit work.
- Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare, social impact, and community development; prior experience in the nonprofit or CSR sector is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic office software and donor management or CRM tools; ability to learn new systems as needed.
