ABOUT THE JOB

WellM builds health and wellness apps for clients in India and the US. The engineering team is one person today, the CTO. You will be the second.

You will work on phone apps and on the web portals behind them. We ship in Flutter and React Native, with Next.js, Node, Firebase and Postgres on the web side.

We build with AI tools all day. That is normal here.

HOW TO APPLY: BUILD THIS

Build a small phone app that listens for snoring. Use Flutter, React Native, or anything else. It has three screens:

- Start night. One button starts listening on the microphone.
- Morning card. When you stop, it shows a snoring score from 0 to 100, the minutes of snoring out of the minutes recorded, and the loudest 10 seconds, which you can play back.
- Week. One bar per night. A night that is too short or too noisy is marked "did not count", with the reason.

The rules

- Find the snoring with a public sound model that runs on the phone. Google's YAMNet is one option. It has a "Snoring" label.
- The sound must stay on the phone. No server.




- The app must keep listening for 30 minutes with the screen locked.
- You choose the score formula.
- Use any AI tools you like.
- This is not a medical tool. It must not claim to diagnose anything.

WHO THIS IS FOR

We do not care which framework you use. We care that the app works and that you know what you are doing. You must be able to explain every part of it.

HOW WE WORK

- Delhi NCR only. You must live here now. The work is mostly remote, with in-person days every week.
- Async by default. You talk to the CTO every day.
- If you think an approach is wrong, say so. That is part of the job.
