Builds and maintains full-stack features across backend (Python/Node.js), frontend, and data layers, within a cloud-native, containerized environment. Works with AI-assisted development tools as a standard part of the workflow — not as an occasional aid, but as a core productivity practice backed by disciplined review and testing.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services in Python and Node.js , along with corresponding frontend components
- Write and optimize SQL queries and schema changes against relational databases
- Design, build, and consume REST APIs ; integrate third-party and internal services
- Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code or equivalent) in daily development — prompting effectively, and critically reviewing AI-generated code rather than accepting it at face value
- Participate actively in code reviews , both giving and receiving feedback, and perform code-quality/static analysis
- Write unit tests and maintain meaningful test coverage on all delivered features
- Maintain transparent technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes
- Containerize services using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes
- Work within AWS (or equivalent cloud platform) for deployment, infrastructure basics, and monitoring





Must-Have Skills

- Working proficiency in both Python and Node.js — not just one with passing familiarity with the other
- Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing queries and reasoning about schema design
- Solid grounding in REST API design and integration
- Hands-on experience with Docker ; working comfort deploying to Kubernetes
- Practical AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, or equivalent services)/any other cloud(Google/Azure/etc.,) platforms
- Demonstrated, real-world use of AI-assisted coding tools — able to show an actual workflow of prompting, reviewing, and correcting AI-generated output, not just casual use
- Consistent discipline around unit testing and documentation as standard practice, not an afterthought
- Comfortable owning code review responsibilities independently, without heavy oversight.

Nice-to-Have

- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- Prior exposure to construction, procurement, or ERP-adjacent software
- Experience mentoring or pairing with more junior engineers

Education B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
