About the role

Sims Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its technology team to build AI-powered products that improve healthcare administration and operations.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can own features from architecture through production. You will work across React and TypeScript applications, Java and Spring Boot services, and Python services supporting AI agents.

As one of the earliest engineers on this current team, you will help establish its architecture, engineering practices, documentation and technical standards.

What you will do

- Design, build and maintain production-grade features across the complete technology stack.
- Develop frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to Python services supporting AI and machine learning workflows.
- Build and deploy reliable LLM-powered and agentic features.
- Work on prompting, context management, tool calling, evaluations, observability, latency and cost optimisation.
- Make architectural decisions that support reliability, security and scalability.
- Improve cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into simple product experiences.
- Establish standards for code quality, testing, documentation and deployment.
- Review code and provide technical guidance to other engineers.




- Participate in product and user-experience decisions.
- Help evaluate and hire future engineering team members.

What we are looking for

- 5–7 years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
- Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Working proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience taking an LLM-powered or agentic application into production.
- Ability to explain how an AI system was evaluated, monitored and improved.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong system design, debugging skills and engineering judgement.
- Clear written and spoken English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements.
- High ownership and the ability to lead technical work independently.

Nice to have

- Experience with healthcare software or healthcare operations.
- Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare data privacy requirements.
- Experience with EHR or EMR integrations.
- Experience with voice agents, telephony or low-latency systems.
- Experience with OCR, document processing or information extraction.
- Prior experience working with US-based teams or during US-aligned hours.
