Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a French Teacher at House of Polyglots.

The French

Teacher will conduct interactive online classes focused on speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing skills, following the platform’s structured curriculum.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, assessing learner progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to different proficiency levels and goals. The role involves supporting learners preparing for study abroad, career advancement, or fluency improvement,



while maintaining an engaging, inclusive, and learner-centered online classroom environment.

The French

Teacher will collaborate with the academic team to refine content, share best practices, and participate in occasional training or curriculum development activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in French Teaching and general Teaching methodologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Tutoring and individualized learner support.
- Candidates should possess a background in Education and familiarity with learning frameworks.
- Candidates should possess experience in Teacher Training or mentoring other educators, where applicable.
- Native or near-native proficiency in French, with clear, effective communication in English.
- Experience delivering online language classes, using virtual classroom tools and digital resources.
- Ability to design engaging, outcome-based lessons for diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Relevant degree or certification in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching.
