We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control & Planning Manager for a freelance/contract engagement with robust hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Demand Planning, Inventory Control, and Forecasting .

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage inventory across multiple locations, improve forecasting accuracy, and optimize stock levels.

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage inventory levels across domestic and international warehouses
- Perform inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and variance analysis
- Maintain inventory accuracy across ERP/WMS and multiple sales channels

• Set and monitor Safety Stock, Reorder Points, Min/Max levels

• Own Demand Planning and Forecasting activities

• Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Demand Planning tools

- Analyze historical demand, sales trends, seasonality, and promotions

• Identify and manage excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and discontinued inventory

- Support close-out, liquidation, and inventory disposition activities
- Prepare inventory health, forecast accuracy, inventory turns,



and working capital reports
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Marketing

? Must-Have Skills

✅ Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – hands-on experience

✅ Demand Planning & Forecasting

✅ Inventory Control & Inventory Planning

✅ Safety Stock / Reorder Point / Min-Max Planning

✅ ERP/WMS experience

✅ Advanced Excel & data analysis

✅ Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management

✅ 5+ years of relevant experience

? Good to Have

• Experience with D365 Business Central Demand Planning Add-on

- Omni-channel / DTC / Wholesale / E-commerce experience
- Experience managing global inventory
- APICS CPIM/CSCP or Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with inventory close-outs and liquidation
