? What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Founding Product Designer to shape how people create with Lemonpeel. You’ll own the design experience across our creative canvas, AI workflows, and video editor—making powerful tools feel intuitive for everyone from first-time creators to professional production teams.

- Own product design from understanding the problem to shipping and refining the experience.
- Work closely with the founders and engineering team to define how the product works, alongside how it looks.
- Design intuitive experiences for complex creative workflows: connecting models, managing assets, editing videos, and collaborating with teams.
- Talk to users, observe how they create, and turn their struggles into transparent product improvements.
- Explore ideas through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
- Build and evolve a design system that brings consistency across a rapidly growing product.
- Work with engineers through implementation, paying attention to interactions, edge cases, and the details that make a product feel finished.
- Use feedback and product data to improve usability, adoption, and retention.

✅ What We’re Looking For

- A strong portfolio showing thoughtful interaction design, visual craft, and clear reasoning behind your decisions.




- Experience designing software products, ideally with complex workflows or creative tools.
- Strong product judgment: you can simplify a problem, challenge assumptions, and decide what deserves attention.
- The ability to make powerful features approachable without limiting what experienced users can do.
- Proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and building reusable components and design systems.
- Curiosity about AI and hands-on familiarity with image, video, or other creative tools.
- Comfort working with ambiguity, moving quickly, and taking ownership.
- Clear communication and the ability to work closely with engineers, founders, and users.
- Being a creative yourself is a plus—whether you make films, edit videos, design, illustrate, or experiment with AI. First-hand experience with creative workflows will help you design better tools for others.
