Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional from the Banking / Financial Services industry to join an MNC Bank's Finance function in Goregaon, Mumbai.

The role will be responsible for managing and supporting key areas including Financial Accounting, Management Reporting, Liquidity, Treasury, Taxation, Regulatory Reporting and Financial Controls.

The ideal candidate should have robust exposure to banking finance processes and an understanding of the regulatory and financial environment applicable to banks.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day Finance and Accounting activities for the bank.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
- Handle General Ledger, month-end / year-end closing, reconciliations and financial controls.
- Monitor and manage liquidity and cash-flow requirements.
- Support Treasury / Liquidity management, including monitoring of funding and liquidity positions.
- Prepare and review liquidity-related reports and management information.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on taxation matters, including direct and indirect tax requirements.
- Support tax computation, tax reporting, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and statutory reporting.
- Work closely with Treasury,



Risk, Operations, Compliance and other Finance teams.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, accounting standards and banking regulations.
- Support internal and external audits and provide required financial information and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting.
- Prepare financial MIS, dashboards and presentations for senior management.
- Coordinate with global Finance / Treasury teams and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of all Finance-related activities.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 10–18 years of relevant experience in Banking / Financial Services, preferably with an MNC / International Bank / GCC.
- Strong experience in Finance, Accounting and Banking Operations.
- Good understanding of Liquidity / Treasury and cash-flow management.
- Exposure to banking taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Operations and Compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and financial reporting / ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven banking environment.
