Finance & Accounts Executive – Events & Brand Marketing

We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Executive with 3–6 years of experience to join our Brand Marketing, Experiential Marketing & Event Management team.

This role goes beyond conventional accounting. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Finance, Accounts, GST, TDS, Event BOQs, Project Costing, Vendor Management and Commercial Controls .

The ideal candidate should be able to understand the complete financial cycle of an event — from quotation and costing to vendor payments, client billing, collections and final project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Maintain vendor and client ledgers
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
- Track expenses, advances and petty cash
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting
- Review and validate event BOQs and project cost sheets
- Track Budget vs Actual project expenses
- Monitor project-wise profitability and margins
- Identify cost overruns, missing costs and margin leakages
- Ensure additional work and change requests are properly captured and billed
- Verify vendor quotations and invoices
- Track BOQ → PO/WO → Execution → Vendor Invoice → Payment
- Manage vendor reconciliations, advances and final settlements
- Handle client billing and payment follow-ups
- Track receivables and payables ageing
- Support project financial closure
- Verify GST invoices and Input Tax Credit
- Support GST and TDS reconciliations
- Coordinate with CA and tax consultants for statutory requirements
- Prepare project-wise P&L;, cash-flow and outstanding reports
- Prepare management MIS and financial reports

Event Costing Knowledge Candidates should have an understanding of costing related to:
- Fabrication & Branding

- Venue & Hospitality
- Artist & Entertainment
- Merchandise & Gifting
- Photography & Videography
- Other event production requirements

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Accounting & Finance
- Practical understanding of GST & TDS
- Strong MS Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Experience with Tally / Zoho Books / ERP systems
- Valuable understanding of BOQs and project costing
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good documentation and follow-up skills
- Strong commercial awareness and cost-control mindset
- Ability to coordinate with Production, Operations, Procurement, Client Servicing and Vendors
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, especially during live events

Qualification B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance or equivalent

CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA / MBA Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Experience in any of the following industries will be an advantage:
